Colon irrigation is the introduction of water into the colon using disposable nozzles and hygienic equipment, in a comfortable setting, to help evacuate the contents of the bowel.

Hydro colon therapy is safe for clients who don’t have a contraindication for use. Whether you’re a candidate is determined after you complete your intake forms and questionnaire. The water is ultra-purified and filtered, warmed to 99 to 103°F, and flows by gravity at about 1 psi, similar to water barely dripping from a showerhead.

Once you complete your intake forms, you’ll receive instructions for preparing. In general:

• Drink plenty of water in the 24 hours before your session

• Avoid solid food for 2 hours beforehand

• Skip alcohol, red or purple drinks, milk, and orange juice for 2 days prior

• First appointment: Gentle hydration to begin softening and releasing accumulated waste

• Sessions 2 to 4: Every 5 to 7 days, to target deeper buildup while keeping your body balanced

• Routine maintenance: Every 60 to 90 days, or with each new season

• Chronic constipation or specific goals: One session every 4 to 6 weeks, tapering off as habits improve

Our standard protocol requires clients to be at least 18. Teens ages 16 to 17 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign all intake and consent forms. Ages 12 to 15 require a doctor’s referral or note. We do not offer this service to children under 12 without exceptions. As the body ages, colonics can carry added safety concerns, including thinner intestinal tissue, electrolyte shifts, and conditions such as major GI issues, chronic steroid use, heart disease, and kidney issues, which are contraindications.
